Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-02. These terms cover your use of the Spiritual Warrior Project platform at app.swproject.co.uk and the SW Project app (together, “the platform”), run by the Spiritual Warrior Project (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.
Booking a place on a camp is covered separately by our Booking Terms, which you accept when you apply and when you pay. If these terms and the Booking Terms ever disagree about a camp, the Booking Terms win.
1. Your account
- Accounts are personal. One account per person, and do not share your sign-in with anyone.
- Keep your password and authenticator app safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Keep your details accurate, especially your email address, so we can reach you about your camp.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account: WhatsApp +44 7507 548712.
2. Who can use the platform
Access to the members area is given to camp applicants, participants and members we invite. What you can see, such as courses, resources and community spaces, depends on your membership and the camps you are part of. We may change what is available as the programme develops.
3. The community
The community is built on the same values as the camp: Islamic values, discipline, mutual respect and brotherhood. The conduct rules in section 12 of the Booking Terms apply here too. In particular, do not:
- bully, harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- post anything sexual, hateful, violent or illegal;
- share another member’s personal details, messages, photos or posts outside the platform without their permission;
- impersonate anyone, or post spam, adverts or scams;
- try to get into accounts or areas you have not been given access to, or interfere with how the platform works.
If you see anything that breaks these rules, report it: use the flag on a post, the Report link on a comment, or Report in the … menu on someone’s profile. The person you report is not told who reported them. Our moderators review reports and aim to act within 24 hours. We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these rules. Where it is serious, we may also refer it to the authorities.
You can also block another member from the … menu on their profile. You will then not see each other’s posts or comments, or be able to message each other. Blocking is private: the other person is not told. You can unblock them from Account settings → Privacy.
4. What you post
You keep ownership of the posts, comments, photos and videos you share. By posting, you give us permission to store them and show them to the other members who can see that space, for as long as they stay on the platform. Only post things you have the right to share, and think twice before posting photos of other people.
5. Our content
Courses, books, articles, audio, video and other resources on the platform belong to us or the people who made them. They are for your own personal use. Please do not copy, record, resell or share them outside the platform.
6. Payments
Camp payments are taken through Fiserv’s secure checkout and are governed by the Booking Terms and our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Paid mentor sessions and other services show their price before you pay.
7. Privacy and deleting your account
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your personal data, and our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings → Privacy. Here is what that removes.
8. The service
We work to keep the platform running and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, pause or retire features. The platform’s content is for spiritual, educational and community purposes. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
9. Responsibility
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for content posted by other members, or for problems caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and if a change matters we will tell you in the platform before it takes effect. If you keep using the platform after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: WhatsApp +44 7507 548712 or email any @swproject.co.uk address you have for us.
